School board ‘visibility’ during the COVID-19 pandemic: Education management musings from a tripartite case study of schools in Central Uganda

چکیده

School level education management requires the active involvement of both school administration and board governors. Without board’s supervisory eye, may end up with many lapses to detriment quality. How, then, did boards execute their oversight mandate during difficult times COVID-19? Using a tripartite case study design, I examined ‘visibility’ in COVID-19 focus on ensuing lessons. discovered that pandemic visibility different varied from ‘considerable’ ‘no visibility’ depending certain interesting factors. concluded there is no single uniform descriptor an emergency such as COVID-19. Secondly, are materialistic altruistic antecedents level. The serves correction stakeholder model’s excessive faith members’ disinterested commitment service common good. It also recasts question membership view better management.
